The Fire Hose – There seems to be an explosive growth in ‘research outputs’, fuelled by many factors. How are Researchers supposed to make their work stand out? How are Readers supposed to cope with the flow of content and determine what is relevant and trustworthy? Should someone be curating and delivering relevant, high-quality content, or should we just be improving algorithms to sort the quality from the noise?
